Payment terms/conditions
We accept MasterCard, bankcard and visa cards for payment.

There is no time-frame for bookings subject to availability during peak periods we advise advance booking to avoid disappointment.

The rooms are serviced every 3rd or 4th day; if you require further towels or linen please do not hesitate to ask at the office.

Minimum stay:
At sunrise we have no minimum stay policy.

Smoking:
Is permitted, but in the interest of others we would ask smokers to use the veranda.

Confirmed air reservations:
Many flights in and out of Rarotonga are often full. Our policy is to only book guests who have already confirmed flight reservations.

Confirmation:
Confirmed bookings will be acknowledged by return e-mail or in some cases facsimile

Government tax:
All rates at sunrise include 12.5% value added tax

XXXAirportTransfers:
These are not included in our rates, but sunrise can provide a meet/greet/return transfer to and from the airport for a very competitive rate of $20 each way per personXXX

Exchange rates:
All rates are calculated in NZ$ which is the official currency of the Cook Islands. As its rate varies slightly on a day to day basis, please visit for up to date exchange rates against your currency.


We try to be as user friendly as possible with our guests check in/out times due to the awkward flight arrival/departures into Rarotonga. Where ever possible we will endeavor that our guests have the use the sunrise facilities until time of departure without incurring any extra costs.

If you are visiting the outer islands then we will organize transfers and look after any excess baggage.
