If you are more energetic hire a bicycle from sunrise at only NZ$6 per day.

All the major tours stop at or outside the sunrise for your convenience. Buses stop at the end of Sunrise in either direction hourly; cost is just a few dollars for one stop or right round the island.

One thing in Rarotonga is that nowhere is very far away!
